The body sitting on the floor after the
jag was fitted!
Fitted the front end while cleaning up.
Spent 3 hours with my mate Julius
this afternoon and chopped out the boot and fitted the
jag rear. Once the firewall is modified, it's back to
where it was before the wagon was scrapped.
Julius was back over and we grabbed out the big angle
grinder and cut some holes , after a lot of discussion
and looking at the wagon photos to make it neater this
time. The engine is now sitting in to work out how much
to trim off to fit it.
Below you can see the 2 shots that show how much lower
the cut is this time. (The alternator is still a bit
tight - maybe I'll run it off the diff like I saw on
a Canberra commondore!)
Made the cutout lower than last time, if I can lower
the motor further I can move it back an inch more (25mm).
I will also fill in the corners of the firewall so it
matches the shape of the rocker cover later.
