Celica GT8 Twin Turbo Lexus V8 - Turbos rated at 440 hp each, huge intercooler, converted to RWD.

Run's atwin 2.5 inch exhaust that runs into a single 4 inch and then steps down to a 3.5 inch for the rest of the system with a 3.5 inch resonator and a very large straiught thru rear 3.5 inch barrel muffler...all mandrel and all in stainless.

The net result? On a measley 13psi it laid down 320kw at the wheels or 430hp for those of you who like the old money. Pretty happy with that on totally stock internals.

Update: Went for a run on the road with Justen after the Zoom photoshoot - f##'n awesome - if my EH goes anywhere near as well as this - I'll be wrapped! To hear an external wastegate on the road..........indescribeable!

Justen's update - visit lextreme.com and search for GT8:

  • July 05 - Dropped in a Tremec TKO600 box as the toyota gear just wasn't up to the task. Installed a TRD 2.92:1 LSD from a JZA70 and finally got around to fully sorting the exhaust.
  • March 2008 - supercharged and turboed at the same time - see below, then new lower intake manifold to remove the restricted standard setup...... lextreme.com.........
